Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)

Mulan II (2004)

Mushu is determined to drive a wedge betwenn the couple after he learns that he will lose his guradian job if Mulan marries into the Li family.

After the princesses unexpectedly fall in love with the gang of three, Mulan decides to help them escape the fate of marrying men they do not love, though this contradicts the Emperor's orders and forces him to put Mulan's relationship with Shang into question. They are attcked by Mongolians, and the fate of China hangs in the balance.

Blast! (2004)

A terrorist, Michael Kittredge (Jones), posing as an environmentalist protester leads a team of highly-skilled mercenaries to take control of an oil rig off the coast of California, intending to detonate an electromagnetic bomb over the United States, striking a sort of "new Pearl Harbor" attack on behalf of enemies to the nation. What Kittredge didn't count on is a tugboat captain, Lamont Dixon (Griffin), who survives an attack on his ship, and is soon recruited by an FBI agent (Fox) to infiltrate the oil rig and procure information about their plans. and if possible, stop them. In the process, Dixon meets an eager computer expert (Meyer) aboard the oil rig who helps Dixon even as he gets on his nerves and Lamont suspects he can't really trust him.

Chalk (2006)

Based on the short Stephen King horror story of the same name, 1408 surrounds supernatural writer Mike Enslin, an author of two hit books focusing on supernatural phenomena. As research for his latest book, Enslin is determined to check out the notorious room 1408 in a New York City hotel by personally staying as a guest in the fabled room. With the intention that 1408 is just a myth perpetuated by stories and rumor that Enslin has collected for his past works. However, hotel manager Mr. Olin has strong objections to Enslin's stay and only warns him of possible danger to come. But Enslin is determined to go through and convinced that the horrific past of 1408 is just mere coincidence and a myth. Shottas (2002)

Shottas is not the greatest movie made nor is it the worst movie made. It's an honest effort from a no name director thats trying to make his mark. If you didn't know , Shottas was a huge underground bootleg hit before it finally came officially available thanks to Sony in January of this year. Obviously Sony saw it fit to push this underground classic. West Indians will appreciate this movie more than anyone else because it shows a dark but real side of what goes on in the Jamaican underground crime scene. Yes this is probably the darkest film to come out of Jamaica , but at the same time it also is probably the best. If you keep up with Jamaican cinema you should know most of their gangster films. "The harder they come" , "Third world cop" are more than likely number 2 and 3 under Shottas.

War (2007)

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007)

Beginning just after the bloody Sioux victory over General Custer at Little Big Horn, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee intertwines the perspectives of three characters: Charles Eastman (Beach), né Ohiyesa, a young, Dartmouth-educated, Sioux doctor held up as living proof of the alleged success of assimilation; Sitting Bull (Schellenberg), the proud Lakota chief who refuses to submit to U.S. government policies designed to strip his people of their identity, their dignity and their sacred land - the gold-laden Black Hills of the Dakotas; and Senator Henry Dawes (Quinn), who was one of the architects of the government policy on Indian affairs.

While Eastman and patrician schoolteacher Elaine Goodale (Paquin) work to improve life for the Indians on the reservation, Senator Dawes lobbies President Grant (Thompson) for more humane treatment, opposing the bellicose stance of General William Tecumseh Sherman (Feore). Hope rises for the Indians in the form of the prophet Wovoka (Studi) and the Ghost Dance - a messianic movement that promises an end of their suffering under the white man. This hope is obliterated after the assassination of Sitting Bull and the massacre of hundreds of Indian men, women and children by the 7th Cavalry at Wounded Knee Creek on Dec. 29, 1890.
